Christmas Singing in the City

Now a thousand Christmas lights are lit, or "Silent Night" - which is your favorite?

Christmas Singing in the City is a major community singing event with roots in the 1960s, when Bo Eek - who still leads the singing - was a young priest and wanted to highlight the Christmas singing tradition against the commercial frenzy in the shops around the Cathedral. That message is just as relevant today.

Choirs and musicians help out, and songbooks with notes and lyrics are distributed free of charge. Free admission.
