GEORG RAGNAR LEVI - FLORA IN TRANSIT

Installations by Georg Ragnar Levi (b. 1961) meet the sculptures in Millesgården's antiquities collection in the exhibition Flora in Transit. His compositions explore themes of loss, comfort and acceptance, combining memorial flowers with preserved natural finds and other objects.

The flowers are made of sparkling glass beads threaded on metal wire - drawn from Levi's collection of beadwork from various countries - and illuminate the winter darkness in the antique halls.
