Älvarnas biografier

Älvarnas biografier is a meditative headphone-based artwork by artist duo Lundahl & Seitl. Up to forty people put on headphones and together recreate the movement of water - from source to sea - through simple movement instructions that form a shared choreography. Each participant interprets the movement according to their own ability, and the audience becomes part of the work.

Each performance is shaped by the place where it takes place: by the people who participate and by the waterways nearby. The work moves in the borderland between choreography, sound art, and nature experience, and explores movement, time, and humanity as part of a larger cycle.

The performance lasts 50 minutes and is part of Riksteatern's touring programme. Creators: Christer Lundahl and Martina Seitl. Riksteatern in collaboration with Lundahl & Seitl.
