Allan Edwall's Limpan

The novella Limpan was published by Allan Edwall in 1977. It was later dramatized by Martina Montelius and has now been adapted further by Niklas Ejnar.

The performance tells the story of a homeless, unemployed, and intoxicated man who has lost his footing and fallen through the cracks of society. He sits on a park bench and tries to explain to anyone who happens to listen why he ended up there and why he doesn't deserve to exist. Yet in the darkness there is also a spark of life, humour, and love.
