Swedish Breaking Championship 2026

The Swedish Breaking Championship returns to Göteborg after 13 years - August 28-30, 2026, as part of Göteborgskalaset. Entry is free.

Breaking, also called breakdance, is a dance form where strength, creativity, rhythm and personality meet in battles and show moments with fast footwork, powerful powermoves and acrobatics to live DJ music. Some of Sweden's finest breakdancers compete for the title of best in the country.

Among the international judges is Bboy Junior from France, a member of Wanted Posse and judge at competitions like Red Bull BC One. Among the participants are Bgirl Vanessa from Portugal, Bgirl Movie One from Spain (Lunaticks, Fleurs de l'ombre), Bboy Wigor from Poland (Coolkidz Mob) and Bboy Mowgly from Italy, who has won Red Bull BC One Italy multiple times.

In connection with the championship, international judges hold workshops at several locations in Göteborg: Biskopsgården, Tynnered, Hammarkullen, Bergsjön and Trädgårdsföreningen. More information about the programme and competition categories can be found on the championship's Facebook page.
