Underwater filmmaker Christina Karliczek Skoglund opens with a brief introduction to her work, then screens her documentary about cold-water sharks. She is currently featured in the exhibition Sharks, Camera, Action! at Sjöfartsmuseet Akvariet.
In the film, she and a team of experienced divers and researchers track sharks in cold, dark waters. The expeditions reveal footage of cold-water sharks - animals whose behaviour and survival strategies remain largely unknown.
The film runs 52 minutes, in Swedish with narration by Henrik Ekman (SVT). It was produced by Black Coral Film AB for Doclights GmbH in collaboration with SVT/NDR/ARTE/ORF/Curiosity Stream.
The screening is included with museum admission, though seating is limited. Arrive at least 10 minutes before the start time - otherwise your seat may be released. Unreserved seats are released until the programme begins. If you need to cancel, email: info.sjofartsmuseetakvariet@kultur.goteborg.se
