Eva Dahlgren concerts autumn 2026: the full tour schedule

Who lights the stars? You probably know the line by heart, even if you have never owned a single one of her records. But here is something you probably did not know: when Eva Dahlgren was writing the album that made her a household name, she had just one rule. The idea was born out on the street outside a neighbour's after-party, and the thought was to write an album you could play at three in the morning when you were happy, a little drunk and perhaps in the mood to dance. The result was En blekt blondins hjärta. More than three decades later, tickets to Eva Dahlgren concerts are once again among the most sought-after in the country, starting in Linköping on 3 October 2026.

Eva Dahlgren concerts 2026: what you need to know

Six Swedish dates are currently in our calendar, from Linköping on 3 October to Luleå on 17 October, all tied to the new album Revalution Club.

The background is almost a little comical. Last year Eva Dahlgren settled for a handful of club shows, and she regretted it immediately. She has herself called last year's three shows a big mistake and decided then to do a proper Scandinavian tour with both concert halls and clubs. That is the tour now rolling into Swedish cities during October, and that is why an entire generation that grew up with her songs is chasing tickets again. If you want an overview of the artist in full you can find the collection page for Eva Dahlgren with us, and the first Swedish stop is the concert in Linköping on 3 October.

Revalution Club - the album behind the tour

The tour is named after Revalution Club, Eva Dahlgren's sixteenth full-length record and a clear return to Swedish despite the English title.

Revalution Club is Eva Dahlgren's sixteenth album in order and the follow-up to last year's English-language Alphabet City Songs. Switching back to Swedish felt natural to her. Swedish is her language and she says she loves it. The record also has a clear message. She describes it as a great thank-you to art, and argues that we live in a society where art and culture have been dismantled and given less and less value over several years, while the artistic language is what sets us apart from everything else that is alive.

Behind the sound is a producer she knows well. On the album Eva Dahlgren works once again with Johannes Berglund, a collaboration that began in 2016 and has grown stronger ever since. In an interview she put into words what ties her lyrics together across the years. She says that she has really been writing about the same themes her whole life, about silence and about our inability to express ourselves. That gives a hint of the tone of the record: reflective, personal, but carrying melodies that stick.

From talent show to national treasure

Eva Dahlgren has been part of Swedish music for nearly five decades, but the big breakthrough took a long time to arrive.

It started in front of a television camera. She was discovered by musician and producer Bruno Glenmark in 1978 after an appearance on the TV programme Sveriges magasin, and her debut album Finns det nån som bryr sej om came out the same year. The following year she came third in Melodifestivalen. The story could easily have stopped there, but instead she kept building record by record throughout the eighties.

Before the real breakthrough something happened that few remember today. She toured Sweden in 1987 together with pop duo Roxette, a tour attended by more than 100,000 people. Then came the turning point. The definitive breakthrough in Sweden came in 1991 with En blekt blondins hjärta, her most successful album, which sold over half a million copies and earned her five Grammis awards. The success came at a price, however. The summer after she took part in Rocktåget, and after that she felt completely done, as if the music disappeared when the fame took over.

Since then she has done considerably more than stand on a stage. She composed the music for the film Ingrid Bergman: In My Own Words from 2015. And alongside the songs she works in several forms of expression. She is a musician, songwriter, author, photographer and filmmaker, and married to jewellery designer Efva Attling. What it sounds like live

The audience gets both the new and the old. Eva Dahlgren does not play only songs from Revalution Club, and the setlist shifts with the venue.

She is clear about her stance on this. With massive hits like Ängeln i rummet in her catalogue she feels a responsibility to also play older favourites, because she knows how wonderful it is to hear old songs from artists you love, and she does not stand on stage just for her own sake but for those who are listening. That is precisely why the evening rarely becomes a pure album presentation. New tracks from Revalution Club share space with songs the audience has carried with them since the nineties, and the balance can shift depending on whether the room is seated or standing. Joining her on stage is, as expected, producer Johannes Berglund, who follows the journey from the studio out on the road.

Dates, cities and tickets

The autumn tour makes six stops in Sweden during October 2026. Here are the shows in our calendar, with a link to each event and ticket page.

The Swedish October block is part of a larger Scandinavian autumn tour. Tickets for the Swedish dates are sold through the official ticket vendors Ticketmaster and Tickster, which you can reach via the links on each event page above. Since the dates are clustered in the middle of October, swapping a sold-out evening in one city for the next is not always straightforward. If you want to compare with other things going on you can browse our overview of concerts.

Practical tips before the concert

First check whether your date is a seated concert hall or a standing club night, as that determines how early it pays to arrive.

Uppsala Konsert & Kongress and Kulturens Hus in Luleå are classic concert halls with numbered seats, so it matters less when you walk in. Nöjesfabriken in Karlstad and Huskvarna Folkets Park lean more towards a club and park feel, and if you are standing and want to be close to the stage it is worth arriving in good time. Linköping and Västerås are in a club and congress setting respectively. Since the setlist mixes new material from Revalution Club with the back catalogue, it is a good idea to refresh yourself on both the album and the classics beforehand, so you recognise more songs when they come. Aim early for the date that suits your city best - tickets for popular evenings go quickly.
