渡哲也 (Watari Tetsuya) was a Japanese actor who rose to fame through yakuza and action films at Nikkatsu studio in the 1960s and 70s. He became one of the studio's defining stars. "Tokyo Drifter" (Tokyo nagaremono, 1966), directed by Seijun Suzuki, is among his best-known works.
