Mone Kamishiraishi (born 27 January 1998 in Kagoshima) is a Japanese actress, singer and voice actress signed to Toho Entertainment. She rose to wide recognition in 2016 as the voice of Mitsuha Miyamizu in Makoto Shinkai's global hit Your Name, and has since built a parallel career on stage - most notably playing Chihiro in the Tokyo stage production of Spirited Away - and as a recording artist releasing original J-pop albums. Her film debut in the 2014 musical comedy Lady Maiko earned her the Japan Academy Prize for Newcomer of the Year.
Kamishiraishi released her new album 'texte' on 25 February 2026, the first release of her singer debut 10th-anniversary year, featuring cover songs and originals tied to film and TV works.
She reprised the role of Chihiro in the Seoul run of the stage production of Spirited Away, which opened on 7 January 2026.
She appeared in the musical 'Daddy-Long-Legs' at Theatre Crea in Tokyo, running from 12 December 2025 to 2 January 2026.
Kamishiraishi performed the theme song 'Kiseki no Yo na Koto' for the 2025 anime film Peleliu: Guernica of Paradise, commemorating the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II.
