黃炳耀 (Barry Wong) was a Hong Kong screenwriter closely associated with the action cinema boom of the 1980s. He wrote the script for John Woo's The Killer (1989), one of the defining films of Hong Kong action cinema. Wong died in 1992 at the age of 38.
