About

aespa is a four-member South Korean girl group - Karina, Giselle, Winter and NingNing - formed by SM Entertainment and debuted in November 2020. The group built its identity around a sci-fi concept featuring digital alter egos called the 'æ' characters, and broke SM Entertainment's own record when their debut single 'Black Mamba' hit 100 million YouTube views faster than any previous SM debut. Their 2024 single 'Supernova' spent 15 consecutive weeks at No. 1 on Melon, South Korea's largest streaming platform - the longest run in that chart's history.
