Åke Fridell (1919-1986) was a Swedish actor with a wide range across film and theatre. He appeared in numerous Swedish productions during the 1940s and 1950s, including Ingmar Bergman's Sommarnattens leende (1955). His expressive character work made him a recognizable presence in Swedish cinema of that era.
