Malmö Symphony Orchestra and singer Matt Ford perform Frank Sinatra's classics under conductor Anders Berglund.
Anders Berglund (born 21 July 1948 in Stockholm) is a Swedish conductor, composer, arranger and pianist with one of the broadest careers in Swedish popular music. He served as kapellmästare for 16 editions of Melodifestivalen and conducted Sweden's Eurovision entries 14 times, including as musical director of the 1992 contest in Malmö. Long-term collaborations with Robert Wells on Rhapsody in Rock and with Jill Johnson alongside leading Swedish symphony orchestras have kept him a central figure on the concert stage for over four decades. In 2020 he was inducted into Melodifestivalens Hall of Fame for his conducting work during the 1980s and 1990s.
Berglund performed at Lund's BOP venue with his Berglund Organ Project (Stardust) in February 2026.
Berglund conducted the Luleå Symphony Orchestra at Kulturens Hus in Luleå for a Epiphany concert in January 2026.
Berglund served as composer and arranger for the family musical 'Pinocchio' at Nöjesteatern in Malmö in November 2025.
Berglund conducted the Borås Symphony Orchestra at Åhaga in a concert titled 'The Symphonic Touch of Benny Andersson' in September 2025.
Berglund appeared in a pre-recorded sequence during the second semi-final of Melodifestivalen 2025, as part of an 80s parody segment.
