About
Ängie is the stage name of Angelina Dehn Gustavsson (born 22 March 1995 in Stockholm), a Swedish pop and trap-hop singer-songwriter who grew up in Nynäshamn. She broke through in 2016 with the deliberately provocative debut single "Smoke Weed Eat Pussy", which went viral and earned her the label "most shocking star of 2016" from The Sun. Her music draws on trap, alternative R&B and pop, and her lyrics deal openly with mental health, bisexuality and personal experience - themes she explored in depth on her 2018 debut EP Suicidal Since 1995 and the 2020 album Not Pushing Daisies.
