Jessica Andersson and Tommy Nilsson return to Christmas Night alongside new performers Lasse Kronér and Annika Wickihalder at Oscarsteatern.
Annika Wickihalder (born 25 January 2001) is a Swiss-Swedish pop and soul singer who grew up in Söderhamn after moving to Sweden from Switzerland and Spain at age five. She came to national attention by finishing third in Idol 2021, then released her debut EP "Hollow" - a blend of soul, gospel and pop - in May 2023. She has competed in Melodifestivalen twice, reaching the final both in 2024 with "Light" and in 2025 with "Life Again", placing eighth each time.
Wickihalder placed eighth in the Melodifestivalen 2025 final on 8 March 2025 with "Life Again", the same position she achieved in 2024.
She qualified directly to the Melodifestivalen 2025 final from heat three in Västerås on 15 February 2025, without needing the second-chance round.
Wickihalder released "Stockholm", her first single in Swedish, in January 2025.
