About

Bonafide is a Swedish hard rock band founded in Malmö in 2006 by singer-guitarist Pontus Snibb, whose vision was a sound rooted in electric blues and early R&B - think Bonham drumming over AC/DC riffs. Early support slots for Deep Purple and Status Quo, plus two sets at Sweden Rock Festival in 2008, quickly built them a following across Scandinavia and Europe. Their anthem 'Fill Your Head With Rock' was named one of 2011's best songs by Classic Rock Magazine, and the band has since released eight studio albums, the latest being Are You Listening? in 2023.
