Casey Affleck (born Caleb Casey McGuire Affleck-Boldt, August 12, 1975) is an American actor and director who won the Academy Award, BAFTA and Golden Globe for Best Actor for his role in Kenneth Lonergan's Manchester by the Sea (2016). Younger brother of Ben Affleck, he built his career through a string of indie-leaning roles before breaking through with The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (2007) and later appearing in Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer (2023), his highest-grossing film to date.
