Bernth and three instrumentalists - bass virtuoso Charles Berthoud, fingerstyle guitarist Mike Dawes, and metal guitarist Ola Englund - present Escape The Internet Tour II at Debaser Strand.
Charles Berthoud (pronounced BEAR-too) is a British-Finnish bassist who graduated from Berklee College of Music with highest honours and co-authored the instructional book Two-Handed Tapping with professor Jim Stinnett. His command of two-handed tapping, slap and melodic solo bass - techniques that let him accompany himself like a pianist - has earned him a global following of over 3 million across social media. He has toured Europe, North America, South America, Asia and Australia, and holds signature bass models with Schecter.
Berthoud released the collaborative single 'Escape the Internet II' with Bernth, Ola Englund and Mike Dawes in May 2026.
His EP 'This Is Not A.I.' was released in January 2026, described by No Treble as a statement on human bass virtuosity.
Berthoud released the EP 'Untouchable' in November 2025.
Berthoud performed in Australia as part of the 'Bernth & Berthoud - Escape The Internet' tour, with dates in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.
Berthoud co-headlined the 18-stop 'Escape the Internet Tour 2025' across Europe with Bernth and Ola Englund, covering countries including Sweden, Finland, Norway and the UK.
