Com Truise is the stage name of Seth Haley, an American electronic producer and DJ from upstate New York, signed to Ghostly International. He makes what he calls "mid-fi synthwave slow-motion funk" - bass-heavy, synthesizer-driven music steeped in 1980s retrofuturism. His debut album Galactic Melt (2011) built a devoted following, and his 2011 track "Brokendate" reached a new generation after Doja Cat rapped over it in a viral SoundCloud recording that spread widely on TikTok.
