About

Dundertåget was a Swedish rock band formed in Stockholm in 2004 by Robert "Strängen" Dahlqvist, guitarist of The Hellacopters. Starting out as Thunder Express, they switched to Swedish-language lyrics in 2008 and renamed themselves, going on to release four albums on Razzia Records before disbanding in 2011. Their 2009 debut under the new name, Skaffa ny Frisyr, earned a Grammis nomination for Best Rock Act of the Year. Dahlqvist passed away in 2017, and in June 2026 the remaining members reunited for a tribute performance at Sweden Rock Festival.
