About

Dylan Moran (born 3 November 1971 in Navan, Co. Meath) is an Irish stand-up comedian, actor and writer. He won the Edinburgh Fringe Perrier Comedy Award in 1996 - at 24, the second youngest recipient ever - and co-wrote the BAFTA-winning Channel 4 sitcom Black Books (2000-2004), in which he also played the lead role of misanthropic bookseller Bernard Black. His stand-up style blends philosophical observation with surreal, poetic language.
