Eastern High is a progressive metal band from Malmö, Sweden, founded in 2016 by brothers Ola Svensson (vocals) and Johan Svensson (guitar) after their previous thrash metal outfit Wasted Shells split up. They self-released the debut album 'Garden of Heathens' in 2017, then expanded to a full five-piece with bassist Fredrik Rosdahl, guitarist Niklas Cvetkovski and drummer Christian Lindström. Their second album 'HALO' (2021) drew international attention and praise from outlets including Decibel Magazine.
Eastern High performed at RockArea A7 festival in July 2024.
Eastern High released the single 'Vi Sålde Våra Hemman', their own metal take on a classic Swedish emigration song from the 1850s, as a preview of their third album.
