About

Eleine is a Swedish dark symphonic metal band founded in 2012 by vocalist Madeleine Liljestam and guitarist/vocalist Rikard Ekberg, whose nickname gave the band its name. Drawing on melodic death, black and thrash metal alongside orchestral arrangements, they have released four studio albums and built a reputation as a relentless live act across Europe and North America. Their fourth album We Shall Remain (2023) led to support slots with Nightwish, Ensiferum and Pain, and their first headline European tour in autumn 2024 sold out venues across the continent.
