Erik Grönwall (born 3 December 1987) is a Swedish hard rock singer from Knivsta who won Swedish Idol in 2009 - his debut album went straight to number one and was certified platinum. He spent a decade fronting H.E.A.T, then joined Skid Row in 2022, before leaving in March 2024 to focus on his recovery from acute lymphoblastic leukemia. In 2026 he released his first fully original solo album, 'Bad Bones', and is now performing under his own name for the first time in 15 years.
Grönwall played his first-ever solo concerts at Cirkus in Stockholm on May 25-26, 2026, with both shows selling out in record time.
His debut fully original solo album 'Bad Bones', produced with former H.E.A.T bandmate Jona Tee, was released on May 22, 2026.
The title track single 'Bad Bones' was released in February 2026 and picked up by major rock radio stations including Bandit Rock (Sweden), Planet Rock (UK) and Star FM (Germany).
Grönwall made a guest appearance with H.E.A.T on stage at La Riviera in Madrid on May 23, 2025, performing three songs.
Grönwall announced plans to release one original song per month from April 2025, marking his return to solo songwriting.
