Evan Rachel Wood (born September 7, 1987, in Raleigh, North Carolina) is an American actress, singer, and activist who broke through with her Golden Globe-nominated role in the teen drama Thirteen (2003). She is best known internationally for playing sentient android Dolores Abernathy in HBO's Westworld (2016-2022), a role that earned her a Critics' Choice Award and back-to-back Emmy nominations. Beyond acting, she co-authored California's Phoenix Act (signed into law in 2019), which extended the statute of limitations for domestic violence cases, and has continued to advocate for survivors' rights nationwide.
Wood appeared as a guest on The Pansy Craze, a six-episode queer history variety show hosted by Mason Alexander Park, streaming exclusively on Audible.
Wood issued a public statement supporting survivors after the Los Angeles County DA announced it would not file domestic violence charges against her former fiancé Marilyn Manson, citing statute of limitations barriers.
