Floor Jansen (born 21 February 1981 in Goirle, Netherlands) is a Dutch singer who has fronted Finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish since 2012, becoming their permanent lead vocalist in 2013. She first made her name in After Forever - one of the earliest symphonic metal bands - before forming ReVamp and eventually stepping into Nightwish. Her voice spans more than three octaves, moving freely between operatic soprano and full-throttle rock, and she has built a parallel solo career alongside her band work.
