About

Gary Moore (1952-2011) was a Belfast-born guitarist and singer-songwriter whose career spanned blues, hard rock and jazz fusion across more than four decades. He served as Thin Lizzy's guitarist on three separate occasions alongside Phil Lynott, and his 1990 album 'Still Got the Blues' became his commercial peak - spending 26 weeks on the UK album chart and earning platinum certifications across Europe. Ranked among the greatest guitarists of all time by Total Guitar and Louder, he is cited as an influence by players from Joe Bonamassa to Kirk Hammett.
