Geoff Tate is an American singer best known as the frontman of progressive metal band Queensrÿche, which he led from 1982 to 2012. His powerful tenor voice shaped albums like "Operation: Mindcrime" and "Empire". Since parting ways with Queensrÿche he has continued as a solo artist and with his own band, also called Operation: Mindcrime.
