Gjermund Larsen is a Norwegian fiddler and composer rooted in the Norwegian folk music tradition. He is known for weaving traditional slåttemusik together with jazz and contemporary influences, and has collaborated with artists such as Arve Henriksen. With his trio he explores the space between folk music and improvisation.
