About

Grave is a Swedish death metal band from Stockholm, formed in 1986 under the name Corpse before changing their name in 1988. Alongside Entombed, Dismember and Unleashed, they are widely regarded as one of the 'Big Four' of Swedish death metal. Their 1991 debut 'Into the Grave' remains a landmark of the genre, and the band has since released eleven studio albums in total. In early 2024 two long-standing members departed, prompting a hiatus, but the original lineup - Ola Lindgren, Jörgen Sandström, Jonas Torndal and Jens Paulsson - reunited in 2025 for live performances.
