Swedish death metal legends Grave deliver a classic set at Debaser Strand with support from Disarray and Imperishable.
Grave is a Swedish death metal band from Stockholm, formed in 1986 under the name Corpse before changing their name in 1988. Alongside Entombed, Dismember and Unleashed, they are widely regarded as one of the 'Big Four' of Swedish death metal. Their 1991 debut 'Into the Grave' remains a landmark of the genre, and the band has since released eleven studio albums in total. In early 2024 two long-standing members departed, prompting a hiatus, but the original lineup - Ola Lindgren, Jörgen Sandström, Jonas Torndal and Jens Paulsson - reunited in 2025 for live performances.
Grave performed a special 'Old School Grave & Corpse' set at Maryland Deathfest XXI in Baltimore on May 24, 2026.
The reunited original lineup played their first show together in Stockholm on April 5, 2025.
The original lineup of Jörgen Sandström, Jens Paulsson and Jonas Torndal announced festival shows for 2025, with no plans to record new material.
Bassist Tobias Cristiansson and guitarist Mika Lagrén left the band in early 2024, causing all planned 2024 shows to be cancelled.
