About

Guitar Gangsters are a London punk band formed in 1988 by brothers Pete and Phil Ley, drawing on the first wave of UK punk - The Clash, The Ramones, The Boys and Stiff Little Fingers among their key touchstones. Their debut album 'Prohibition' on Link Records caught the attention of Stiff Little Fingers, who took them on as support for their comeback UK tour. Over more than 35 years the band has toured 28 countries and released 11 studio albums, building a particularly loyal following across mainland Europe.
