Gwyneth Paltrow is an American actress, entrepreneur and wellness entrepreneur born on 27 September 1972, daughter of director Bruce Paltrow and actress Blythe Danner. She won the Academy Award for Best Actress for Shakespeare in Love (1998) and built a major Hollywood career through the 1990s and 2000s before founding the lifestyle brand Goop. Beyond acting, she has performed her own vocals in the film Country Strong (2010) and made guest appearances on the TV series Glee, and she returned to the big screen in Josh Safdie's A24 film Marty Supreme (2025) opposite Timothée Chalamet.
