Hannelore Schroth was a German actress whose career spanned from the 1930s onward. She is best known internationally for playing Emil's mother in the 1971 Swedish film Emil i Lönneberga, based on Astrid Lindgren's book. Throughout her career she appeared in numerous German film and theatre productions.
