concertHoodoo Gurus
Australian garage and power pop legends Hoodoo Gurus play their only Scandinavian tour date in Stockholm.
Hoodoo Gurus are a Sydney rock band formed in 1981, led by singer-songwriter Dave Faulkner. Their sound blends garage rock, power pop and punk-edged melody, and they built a loyal following on both the Australian charts and the US college radio circuit - 'Come Anytime' reached #1 on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart. The band was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2007 and has released nine ARIA Top 20 albums across a career spanning more than four decades.
Hoodoo Gurus performed with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra for the first time in their career at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl on 29 January 2026, in a show titled 'Symphonic Gurus: Hoodoo Gurus x MSO'.
A 40th anniversary deluxe 2LP edition of Mars Needs Guitars! was released on 17 October 2025, featuring unreleased demos and the previously unheard outtake 'Johnny'.
The band's 'Back to the Stoneage' Australian tour, marking the 40th anniversary of their debut album Stoneage Romeos, expanded to 26 dates after the majority of shows sold out.
Hoodoo Gurus completed a US tour in September 2024, their second American run within 18 months, covering cities including Austin, New Orleans, Atlanta, New York and Los Angeles.
