Jelly Roll (Jason Bradley DeFord, born December 4, 1984) is a Nashville-born rapper, singer and songwriter who blends country, hip-hop and rock. After two decades of independent releases and repeated stints in jail, he broke through to mainstream audiences in 2022 with 'Son of a Sinner' and 'Need a Favor', and his 2024 album Beautifully Broken debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200. At the 2026 Grammy Awards he took home three trophies - Best Contemporary Country Album, Best Country Duo/Group Performance and Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song.
