Joshua Ray Walker is a country singer-songwriter from East Dallas, Texas, whose music draws on classic honky-tonk and outlaw-country traditions. In early 2024 he was diagnosed with stage 3B colon cancer, which later spread to his lungs; he completed treatment and is now cancer-free, channeling the experience into a trilogy of albums - 'Tropicana' (2025), 'Stuff' (2025) and 'Ain't Dead Yet' (2026).
