KAJ is a Finland-Swedish comedy and music trio from Vörå, Ostrobothnia, formed in 2009 by Kevin Holmström, Axel Åhman and Jakob Norrgård - the group's name built from their first initials. Over 15 years they released seven albums and wrote two musicals for Wasa Theatre, building a loyal following across Swedish-speaking Finland. In early 2025 they won Melodifestivalen with a record-breaking 4.3 million votes and went on to represent Sweden at Eurovision 2025 in Basel, finishing fourth with 321 points - their sauna anthem 'Bara bada bastu' topping charts in Sweden and Finland and crossing 100 million Spotify streams.
'Bara bada bastu' became the first Eurovision 2025 entry to surpass 100 million streams on Spotify.
KAJ were named Finland-Swedes of the Year by the Swedish Assembly of Finland and received the Assembly's Medal of Merit on 6 November 2025.
KAJ performed at Ruisrock Festival in Turku on 4 July 2025.
KAJ finished fourth at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel with 321 points, representing Sweden with 'Bara bada bastu'.
