About

Keala Settle is an American singer and actress born in Hawaii in 1975, of Maori, British and Scottish heritage. She built a career on Broadway - earning a Tony nomination for Hands on a Hardbody (2013) and appearing in the original cast of Waitress - before her breakthrough as Lettie Lutz in the 2017 film The Greatest Showman, where her performance of 'This Is Me' won the Golden Globe for Best Original Song and earned an Oscar nomination. Since relocating to London she has remained active on the West End and in film, including a role as Miss Coddle in the Wicked film series (2024-2025).
