Industrial electronic music group KMFDM performs in Göteborg.
KMFDM is a Hamburg-based industrial rock band founded in 1984 by German multi-instrumentalist Sascha Konietzko, originally as a performance art project. The group blends heavy guitar riffs, electronic beats and politically charged lyrics - a sound Konietzko calls 'The Ultra-Heavy Beat' - and has released 24 studio albums over four decades, selling more than two million records worldwide. Their 1995 single 'Juke Joint Jezebel' broke into the US Billboard charts and appeared on the soundtracks of Bad Boys and Mortal Kombat, while early acts such as Rammstein and Korn opened on KMFDM tours.
KMFDM's rescheduled European tour runs through August 2026, with dates in Munich, Budapest, Krakow, Berlin, Leipzig, Oberhausen and Eindhoven.
KMFDM released their 24th studio album, Enemy, on 6 February 2026 via Metropolis Records.
The band postponed their nearly sold-out February-March 2026 European tour due to severe illness requiring immediate medical intervention.
KMFDM announced Enemy, their 24th studio album, ahead of a planned 18-date European tour with stops including Stockholm.
KMFDM released Let Go on 2 February 2024 to mark the band's 40th anniversary.
