Marie Göranzon and Krister Henriksson meet in Henrik Schyffert's new play about life, theatre and relationships - a blend of humour and gravity at Lorensbergsteatern.
Krister Henriksson (born 12 November 1946 in Grisslehamn) is a Swedish actor with a career spanning stage and screen since 1971. He is best known internationally for playing Kurt Wallander in the SVT/TV4 crime series (2005-2013) based on Henning Mankell's novels, a role that brought him recognition well beyond Sweden. On stage he has worked at Stockholm City Theatre, the Royal Dramatic Theatre and with Riksteatern, and has twice won the Guldbagge Award for best male lead - in 1998 and 2005.
Henriksson starred alongside Marie Göranzon in the new play 'Slutspelat - Ett komiskt sorgearbete', which premiered at Scalateatern in Stockholm on 13 February 2026.
A documentary about Henriksson by director Tom Alandh, following Riksteatern's national tour, premiered on SVT on 30 November 2025.
The play 'Kärleksbrev', with Henriksson and Ulla Skoog, launched a national autumn tour of sixteen Swedish cities from 19 September 2025.
Henriksson and Grynet Molvig toured Sweden with Riksteatern in Eugene O'Neill's 'Lång dags färd mot natt', directed by Eva Dahlman, opening 1 February 2025 in Klintehamn.
