Larz-Kristerz is a Swedish dansband from Älvdalen, Dalarna, formed in 2001. They broke through nationally after winning the SVT competition Dansbandskampen in 2008, and the following year their single "Carina" became the first dansband track ever to top the Swedish singles chart. Over the years the band has earned platinum records, multiple Guldklavar and a Grammis award, cementing their place as one of Sweden's most successful dansbands.
Larz-Kristerz released the new single "Midsommarafton Igen" on 12 June 2026.
The band announced the 2026 concert tour "Från Carina Till Karlfeldt", mixing their classic hits with settings of Nobel laureate Erik Axel Karlfeldt's poetry.
In December 2025 the band released a Christmas single, "O Helga Natt (Adams Julsång)", and published their opening 2026 tour dates.
The album "För vägens vind" - featuring set poems by Erik Axel Karlfeldt - was released on 5 September 2025, launching a nationwide autumn tour.
Larz-Kristerz announced a collaboration with composer Sören "Sulo" Karlsson to set Karlfeldt's poems to music, with the album due in September 2025 and a national tour to follow in autumn.
