Loa Falkman (born Carl Johan Falkman, 24 July 1947) is a Swedish lyric baritone, actor and one of the most versatile performers in Swedish cultural life. He made his debut at the Royal Swedish Opera in 1973 and has since sung virtually all the major baritone roles - from Don Giovanni and Rigoletto to Wozzeck - on stages in Paris, New York, Moscow and beyond. Appointed hovsångare by the King of Sweden in 2003, he has also won a Guldbagge, two Guldmasker and the royal Litteris et Artibus medal, and was inducted into Melodifestivalens Hall of Fame in 2022.
Falkman performed as Molokov in Chess in Concert at Dalhalla on 9 August 2026, the production's only Swedish staging that year.
Göteborgs-Posten reported that Falkman's December 2026 Sweden tour with Tina Ahlin is being marketed as his last major tour, though Falkman himself was non-committal about it being a final farewell.
