Krister Henriksson and Ulla Skoog perform in this love story told through letters. An intimate theatre performance about two people, their relationship and the passage of time.
Love Letters is a play by American playwright A. R. Gurney, first performed in 1988 at the New York Public Library. Two actors sit side by side and read aloud the lifelong correspondence between Andrew Makepeace Ladd III and Melissa Gardner - from childhood notes to letters written in old age - without sets or memorized lines. The play was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for Drama and has been staged continuously around the world, with dozens of prominent actors having taken the two roles.
