Opera singer Malena Ernman and pianist Mats Bergström perform together in concert.
Malena Ernman (born 4 November 1970 in Uppsala) is a Swedish mezzo-soprano whose career spans opera, baroque repertoire, cabaret and jazz. She built her international reputation at houses including La Monnaie, the Vienna Festival and Glyndebourne, and holds the title of Hovsångerska from the Royal Swedish Opera. She is also known as the mother of climate activist Greta Thunberg, and in 2009 she represented Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest with 'La Voix'.
Ernman released Terra Mater on Warner Classics (31 January 2025), a 20-track baroque and nature-themed album recorded with L'Arpeggiata under Christina Pluhar.
Ernman is scheduled to perform with Ecstatic Ensemble at Karlstad Domkyrka on 29 June 2026 in a concert titled 'I denna ljuva sommartid'.
Upcoming concerts include a date at Centralteatern in Gavle and a performance at Salle Gaveau in Paris.
Ernman released the retrospective album '30 ar som artist' in 2023, marking three decades in performance.
