Manowar is an American heavy metal band from Auburn, New York, formed in 1980 by bassist Joey DeMaio and vocalist Eric Adams. Over four-plus decades they built a devoted global following - the self-styled 'Army of Immortals' - with a sound built on thunderous guitars, operatic vocals and lyrics drawn from mythology, warfare and metal brotherhood. Their last full studio album was The Lord of Steel (2012), though the band has remained active on the road and in the studio throughout the 2020s.
Manowar played London's O2 Academy Brixton in July 2025 as part of their ongoing 'The Blood of Our Enemies Tour 2025' European cycle.
The Reykjavik show - originally sold out and rescheduled from February 2025 due to severe weather - was rescheduled to June 28, 2025.
