About

Marc Martel (born 1976, Montreal) is a Canadian singer best known for his near-identical vocal resemblance to Freddie Mercury. He spent over a decade fronting the Christian rock band Downhere before Queen drummer Roger Taylor hand-picked him in 2011 to lead the official Queen Extravaganza tribute tour. His voice was later blended with Mercury's archive recordings for the 2018 biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, and he now tours the world with One Vision of Queen.
