Mass Worship is a Stockholm-based extreme metal band formed in January 2018, drawing on Swedish death metal tradition while weaving in sludge, hardcore and post-metal textures. Signed to Century Media Records, they released their self-titled debut in 2019 and followed it with Portal Tombs in February 2022 - a record that attracted guest appearances from members of Napalm Death, Katatonia and At the Gates.
Mass Worship released their second album Portal Tombs on February 4, 2022 via Century Media Records, featuring guest vocals from Mark 'Barney' Greenway of Napalm Death and Jonas Renkse of Katatonia.
Portal Tombs was produced, recorded and mixed by the band's own drummer Fred Forsberg.
