About

Matt Maeson (born 17 January 1993) is an American singer-songwriter from Virginia Beach, VA, signed to Neon Gold/Atlantic Records. Raised in a family ministry that performed at prisons and biker rallies, he channelled that upbringing into a dark, confessional blend of folk and alternative rock. His 2019 debut LP Bank on the Funeral made history when both its platinum singles - "Cringe" and "Hallucinogenics" - hit #1 at Alternative radio, making him the first male solo artist to achieve that from a debut album.
