Mattias Torell (born May 1963) is a Stockholm-based Swedish guitarist, composer and producer who has been a central figure on the Swedish soul and pop scene since the early 1990s. He played guitar on Lisa Nilsson's landmark debut album Himlen runt hörnet (1992) and has since become the musician she has collaborated with most - co-writing songs, recording albums and touring together for over three decades. Beyond his work with Nilsson, he has toured and written songs with Eagle Eye Cherry, performed with Eric Gadd and Titiyo, been part of the Blacknuss Allstars collective, and served as musical director for productions at Stockholm Stadsteater including Djungelboken and De tre musketörerna.
Lisa Nilsson released her first studio album since 2013, Uteblivna vi, on 21 March 2025, with Torell among the featured musicians.
