Max and Igor Cavalera perform thrash and death metal classics from Sepultura's formative years at Filmstudion in Göteborg.
Max Cavalera (born 1969 in Belo Horizonte, Brazil) co-founded Sepultura in 1984 and steered the band to global recognition through albums like Arise (1991) and Chaos A.D. (1993). After leaving Sepultura in 1996, he launched Soulfly - blending extreme metal with Brazilian tribal sounds - and has since fronted or co-founded several other bands, including Cavalera Conspiracy (now Cavalera) with his brother Igor and the hardcore project Go Ahead and Die.
Soulfly released their 13th studio album Chama on October 24, 2025 via Nuclear Blast Records, co-produced by Max's son Zyon Cavalera.
Soulfly and Go Ahead and Die launched the 'Favela Dystopia' US tour on November 1, 2025, running through November 23 in Flagstaff, Arizona.
